Q: I have heard consultants say that a gown is made to order. Does that mean it is being made for my measurements?
In short, no. A Made to Order gown is a gown that is ordered in a size based on your largest measurements. Just like ready to wear clothing, your most common measurements will be taken and we will compare those measurements to a size chart to determine what size dress you need. Once we receive the gown, additional alterations will be needed in order to make the gown fit you perfectly.
Our Huntsville Bridal Boutique and Nashville Bridal Boutique have made to order options starting at $1,500.
Don't be dismayed if you are looking for a dress made especially for you - both our Alabama bridal shop and Tennessee bridal shop offer gowns that are Made to Measure. Made to Measure gowns are gowns that are made specifically to your measurements. These gowns are constructed based on a long list of measurements that are extremely in-depth. While alterations might still be needed in the end, they normally are not as extensive as those needed on a made to order gown.
Our Huntsville Bridal Shop has made to measure options starting at $3,000. Our Nashville Bridal Shop has made to measure options starting at $3,500.
