White Dresses, a collection of Southern bridal shops, teamed with Sleepy Fox Photography for a stunning styled shoot featuring a gorgeous gown exclusively available at White Dresses shops. Our desire for the shoot was to marry a classic gown with organic floral design to create a look that Southern brides could easily replicate and picture for their own wedding. The natural backdrop is something that you could easily find in your hometown (this was in fact, shot in the “backyard” of our darling Alabama bridal shop) and a look that could be easily replicated for bridal portraits.
Our in-house floral designer, Teresa Leonard, created a large and dreamy bouquet with unconventional greenery (notice the kale in the bouquet) that mastered an organic and ethereal look. White Dresses Co-Founder, Kara Leonard, styled the bride and selected a stunning classic gown that boasted a three-quarter length sleeved bodice and a silk dupioni skirt. Hair and makeup was performed by Huntsville shop owner, Morgan Bolen, who created a soft updo for a portion of the photos before having the model take down her hair to create a messy look by the water. For makeup, Morgan focused on accenting the model’s natural beauty by creating a soft look that would be perfect for any Southern bride! Vaeda Mann, from Mississippi, was our stunning model and made the entire day a complete blast!
White Dresses would like to thank Sleepy Fox Photography, The Village of Providence, Providence Place Apartments, and Vaeda Mann for their amazing contributions to assist us in making this styled shoot so dreamy! Also - a big thanks to our very own – Teresa, Kara and Morgan – for adding their touch to make the shoot perfect.
