Twice a year, our Southern Bridal Shops travel to the Big Apple to select new inventory for our boutiques. Each market trip is an exciting time to chat with designers, see upcoming trends, and refresh our creative minds on how to make each bride's gown unique.
Upon arrival in New York City, our Huntsville Bridal Shop headed to the Ines di Santo Runway Show. This year, Ines presented amazing gowns with daring plunging necklines, an array of ivory and blush hues, and low backs. They were amazingly detailed and we were over the moon to see what all she had to offer our brides!
On Saturday, our Nashville Bridal Shop headed to see Peter Langner's Runway Show. Peter Langner's show was simply stunning - his use of textured fabrics and hand applied laces took our breath away. Our Tennessee Bridal Shop was impressed with Peter's direction towards a more timeless bride - evading the trends of baring it all.
After our Nashville Bridal Boutique's viewing of Peter Langner's Collection, we headed to see Lela Rose. We were absolutely smitten with Lela's use of textured fabrics, embroidered embellishments, and sophisticated laces. We literally could have taken home the entire collection!
Our Huntsville Bridal Shop headed to Modern Trousseau early Saturday morning to see the amazing gowns the line was offering. Per usual, we were highly impressed with the craftsmanship that Modern Trousseau's gowns boast and we loved the use of the scooped neckline in our Huntsville Bridal Boutique's favorite ball gown of market!
Our Alabama Bridal Shop also headed Pronovias to view the collections they carry and were extremely impressed by the use of soft crepe fabrications. So many of our Alabama brides have been wanting a traditional gown with a flair and Pronovias delivers on that wish with every single gown.
Our Nashville Bridal Shop started the day early with Martina Liana. Our Tennessee Bridal Boutique loved so many gowns, but couldn't keep our minds of a certain crepe number we thought so many of our Nashville brides would love! We also found a beaded full A-line gown that we thought was so different and beautifully detailed! We can't wait for our Tennessee brides to see!
Next, our Nashville Bridal Shop headed to see Tatyana Merenyuk and we felt like we were literally in a dream! These gowns are perfect for the ethereal Nashville brides that we meet at our Nashville Bridal Salon! We were so impressed with the gowns that we had a hard time selecting what to bring home. We also became a little too obsessed with a blue gown that was out of this world! It's soft white sister is coming home to Nashville and we are so excited!
Our Huntsville Bridal Shop and Nashville Bridal Shop both headed to JLM Couture to view the collections of Blush by Hayley Paige (carried at both bridal shops), Hayley Paige, and Jim Hjelm - all designed by the amazingly talented designer Hayley Paige. Our time at Blush by Hayley Paige left us so excited - we met Apollo's sister, Orion - a gorgeously fitted silky taffeta gown that we all adored! Hayley Paige's main line also didn't disappoint - providing a rejuvenated sister gown to Guindon - complete with amazing stripes. Finally, Jim Hjelm provided us with insanely beautiful and timeless pieces - including one simply stunning ball gown with beaded straps (be still our hearts).
Our Nashville Bridal Boutique and Huntsville Bridal Boutique ended our day with Anna Maier's Runway Show! We were in love with all of the amazing gowns offered. No one knows how to do lace like Charles - and we are so happy we had the chance to see his amazing new pieces!
Our Huntsville Bridal Shop ended their market time with Ines di Santo. Literally we loved everything about this line this season and know our Alabama brides are going to continue to get starry eyed as they see her gowns!
Our Nashville Bridal Shop ended our market trip with writing appointments with Anna Maier and Peter Langner. We are so excited about the amazing finds we have seen and can't wait to see what our Southern brides think!
